I'm healing, also the web site is back up.

March

I never did attend that half marathon the 21st. At the end of February as things were looking brighter I got a bit optimistic, but my doctor did not approve, thinking I might need 8-12 months to recover. So I got myself a physiotherapist through my health insurance at work. She was great, and slightly more optimistic towards my healing, helping both my physical and mental health. Though she did hit me on the head once claiming she "knocked some common sense into [me]".

April and May

Following her advice and some exercises she gave me I started training for the Energy Relay race at the end of May. A yearly event in Stavanger gathering thousands of runners. It was the third year Horizon56 attended, and also my third time running the event. I can honestly say that it wasn't my best performance, but I completed my part, felt fine, and the party after was great.

Summer

So summer happened. I went on a yearly cabin trip with a group of friends. I joined Sam and his marching band for the Music from the North event in Italy. I had 6 weeks of summer vacation, we spent 1 on a road trip in Scotland, I highly recommend the high lands. I went on a weekend trip to Gdansk with another group of friends. Our car did not pass the bi-yearly check up known as an EU-control, so we sold the car and are now living without a car. Through all of that I didn't really get back into any sort of regular training.

September and some of October

I had my last of 12 sessions of physio therapy and she was optimistic about my health as long as I promised to do regular strength training. So now I'm more or less back in action. I try to do my strength exercises on Mondays and Fridays, and go for a run on Wednesdays and Sundays. I've been at it for 6-ish weeks now and I'm starting to feel a bit better and a bit more safe that my fracture has healed. I've booked time with my doctor later this month where I'll ask about a new MRI, just to make sure.

Website

Håvard sent me a message today telling me that my web site was down. Turns out my payments had been failing since June and I'd missed all the notifications about that. So now that is also back on track. Thank you Håvard. Also, check out his website, hermiene.net, as he recently did an excellent redesign of the whole site.
